       In a recent bible study meeting on Philippians; written by Paul the apostle from a Roman jail during his first Roman imprisonment. The teacher highlighted Philippians 2:12 "Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. KJV . This verse has been the source of, please excuse the pun, much " fear and trembling". Is Paul saying we need to be doing good works and keeping the law to have or keep salvation. Christians have taken this verse as a command to work, keep the law and be holy or lose their salvation. He says "your own salvation." One commentary used during the meeting explained that Paul does not say to work for your salvation but to work out the salvation that is yours.  He ordered believers to WORK OUT " exercise ,practice strengthen their  "SALVATION".      John 1:14 says in the King James version "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. In The New King James Version it says "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. We cannot even begin to understand how GOD took on human flesh. Most modern translations use "became" rather than "was made."  This is important because; in order for the WORD of GOD to "become" flesh he had to have a body "made". The question is WHO made Jesus body. The answer is not so simple one.     Albert Einstein, in a letter written in 1945 referencing quantum physics, wrote  "God tirelessly plays dice under laws which he has himself prescribed." His view was that quantum particles must adhere to certain rules and are not random like they appear. Joseph would agree his life was a testament to seemingly unrelated circumstances, many horrible, that lead him to a position of glory and power. A position which God used to save the Jewish tribes and preserve the line that would bring us Jesus Christ . Joseph said of theses events in Genesis 50:19 "...... Do not be afraid.
