Sermon 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

short sermon synopsis: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 New King James Version 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.      Paul was writing to a new church that was  under persecution in 1 Thessalonians then later 2nd Thessalonians. Sometimes life get so bad it can make you want to shutdown ; where you do not want to talk to anyone; sometime even God.  Paul in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 is saying to the church things are hard but you need to keep praying. The Devil can rob you of your happiness but not joy- if you have it from God.word sasy is  John 15:11 These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.  Prayer is our way to interact with God.
