9 - 11- 01

         9/11/01 has been called one of the worst days in the history of the nation.  Planes were hijacked and flown crashing into the twin towers that made up the World Trade Center in New York City , Pentagon in Washington and fourth plane crashed in a field in near a city of Pennsylvania.   One thing that I remember is how everyone in the days after the attack ran to churches and temples, and mosques  seeking answers and solace in the spiritual and in God. The years that have followed have seen that drive fade; now many people especially those who are under 30 have begun to discard God and organized religion. 

    Many have also observed that the unity that the nation shared after the attack is now gone as we face political divisions. God, however has not changed he still reaching out with love to all those who lost loved on 19 years ago  and those who were not even alive when the planes hit.  The promise of God found in His word,1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18 , is that death is not the end and hope follows those who die in Christ .   14 ... if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep .. 17... shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
