Responsibility of Christians for the spiritual church family

   A study of the responsibility of Christians for the spiritual family in the church. The Church includes all those in the world who are actually redeemed in Jesus Christ. The lesson focused on how christians are to relate to fellow believers in the local church and beyond.

A. Not everyone is a brother or sister in the Lord or member of the TRUE CHURCH.

Matthew 7:17-21

New King James Version

17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them. 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 

John 1:12-13

New King James Version

12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the [a]right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

To fellow brothers and sisters in the church:

We are to minster

1. Physically:

Acts 2:45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

2 Spiritually:

James 5:16

16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

3. Encourage 

Ephesians 5:18-20

18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; 19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;


4. Love them 

1 Peter 4:8

8 And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”


5. Be patience   

Romans 15:5-7

New King James Version

5 Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus,


6. Forgive them  

Colossians 3:13

New International Version

13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Paraphrase of the teachers call to pray for repentance regarding when we fail to relate as Gods word commands to our fellow believers.

- Forgive me Lord God for doing, saying and thinking things that evil in your sight ;especially those actions toward my brothers and sisters in Christ. Help us to Follow your word so the world will not be able to say i do not want to be part of that church because they see no physical or spiritual ministering, love ,patience or forgiveness.-

Christmas ?

                                                                   Christmas?   Christmas, Easter the Sabbath day bring disputes over whether they are PAGAN or is it the right day. So earlier in the last few weeks I overheard a conversation between a sister in Christ when she tried to witness to a person. As she was witnessing he asked her "but what about the Sabbath when do you worship" and she admitted on Sunday. The person then said "what about Christmas do you celebrate" and she said "yes" and he immediately began to talk about the fact that sunday was not the sabbath and Christmas is pagan day and we do not know when Jesus was actually born. The message of the Gospel could have been sidetracked as she tried to defend celebrating Christmas and Sundays.
