Grading yourself

     Sunday my pastor was preaching and said something very interesting . God he said wants his people to judge themselves, so he does not have to do his own judgement and then punishment.  I checked and yes the bible does say in 1 Corinthians 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. This scripture is in connection with communion. 1 Corinthians 11:28 says "But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup." and  in Galatians 6:4 Paul call on believers to .." let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another."


    We call this introspection. We are to examine , test and grade our spiritual walk. When we deal with our sin and failings, God does not have to take action. If we are unsure how we can pray to God  as the the Psalmist  in Psalm 26:2,  for God  to "Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart."  The link below is to a short  video lesson on how this grading or examination can be done.

  Dear loved and valued one,      I writing this to you in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Jesus who I believe is the blessed Savoir and Son of God. Christmas ?

                                                                   Christmas?   Christmas, Easter the Sabbath day bring disputes over whether they are PAGAN or is it the right day. So earlier in the last few weeks I overheard a conversation between a sister in Christ when she tried to witness to a person. As she was witnessing he asked her "but what about the Sabbath when do you worship" and she admitted on Sunday. The person then said "what about Christmas do you celebrate" and she said "yes" and he immediately began to talk about the fact that sunday was not the sabbath and Christmas is pagan day and we do not know when Jesus was actually born. The message of the Gospel could have been sidetracked as she tried to defend celebrating Christmas and Sundays.
