 LOVE AND GOOD FRIDAY!  

 

    God is many things but the WEST loves to only say he IS LOVE. The Bible agrees 1 John 4:8 says  "He who does not love does not know God, for God is love."  God is LOVE but he is also the judge. Psalm 9:8 And He will judge the world in righteousness; He will execute judgment for the peoples with equity. God is holy and demands holiness. God commands from Leviticus 11:44 For I am the Lord your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.King James Version and 1 Peter 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. God the creator will judge and punish those who fail to be holy. Those actions of lack of actions is named SIN. He knows it all every evil thought and action. I am guilty of sins and so are you. So Romans 6:23 tells us the result " For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."  


    How does love deal with a lack of holiness and perfection, that is called sin,which demands Justice. Take the punishment on yourself . What is the greatest example of God's love  Jesus said in John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.New King James Version. The gift of salvation and forgiveness comes through the act we celebrate on Good friday Jesus Christ the messiah , Savior and Lamb of God giving his mortal life on a cross. Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.King James Version. Yes as Colossians 2:14 says "By canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross." justice for lack of holiness was served by Jesus taking the punishment. God is love. Good friday is the day we proclaim the greatest example of that LOVE. Those who reject his love and light whether in the garden of Eden , the wilderness or today will only be left with justice! It is your choice! So praise God , The Father, Son and Holy Spirit, for his love expressed by the voluntary sacrifice of his son on Cavalry. Please he ask us with love do not choose justice alone BUT also love and mercy.

  Dear loved and valued one,      I writing this to you in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Jesus who I believe is the blessed Savoir and Son of God. Christmas ?

                                                                   Christmas?   Christmas, Easter the Sabbath day bring disputes over whether they are PAGAN or is it the right day. So earlier in the last few weeks I overheard a conversation between a sister in Christ when she tried to witness to a person. As she was witnessing he asked her "but what about the Sabbath when do you worship" and she admitted on Sunday. The person then said "what about Christmas do you celebrate" and she said "yes" and he immediately began to talk about the fact that sunday was not the sabbath and Christmas is pagan day and we do not know when Jesus was actually born. The message of the Gospel could have been sidetracked as she tried to defend celebrating Christmas and Sundays.
