1 Peter 2:7 Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient,“The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone,”8 and “A stone of stumbling And a rock of offense.” They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

   Martin Luther stood before the Diet of Worms, a church tribunal, and was given a choice to recant  his criticism of the church to escape punishment. He answer to them was  “Unless I can be instructed and convinced with evidence from the Holy Scriptures or with open, clear and distinct grounds and reasoning and my conscience is captive to the Word of God,then I cannot and will not recant, because it is neither safe nor wise to act against conscience. Here I stand. I can do no other.  So help me "

   If no one who you know very well family or friends can tell you a Christian they may be a problem. We all have or will stand before people family member and friends who do know Jesus or worship in different religion. We may also stand before Bishop, priest, reverends, politicians or teachers, whether on TikTok or school. They may call on us to participate in actions, worship, events , or be quiet or to change what we preach or how we live . Each request should be examined . Somethings would be No to one Christians but not to another, yes.  Those would be areas covered by 1 Corinthians Paul in 1 Corinthians 8. some would be clearly a No !  

  In those things like everything else Christians must seek counsel from the bible , holy spirit and other believers, but in the end we must follow what we feel lead by the Bible ,God the father,Son and holy spirit, as well as our conscience. Stay peculiar or as the clip included says " weird" . The response may be to view you as a bigot ,crazy, stupid ,strange,phobic, weird or as bible says peculiar !  The Bible calls Christians to be like Peter, the other apostles and Martin Luther. Christians are called to stand and stay peculiar.

Dear loved ones

  Dear loved and valued one,      I writing this to you in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Jesus who I believe is the blessed Savoir and Son of God. I know that may not be what you believe and I respect that, Even though I personally may not agree. This is not going to be a long attempt at trying to prove or convince you of anything. Christmas ?

                                                                   Christmas?   Christmas, Easter the Sabbath day bring disputes over whether they are PAGAN or is it the right day. So earlier in the last few weeks I overheard a conversation between a sister in Christ when she tried to witness to a person. As she was witnessing he asked her "but what about the Sabbath when do you worship" and she admitted on Sunday. The person then said "what about Christmas do you celebrate" and she said "yes" and he immediately began to talk about the fact that sunday was not the sabbath and Christmas is pagan day and we do not know when Jesus was actually born. The message of the Gospel could have been sidetracked as she tried to defend celebrating Christmas and Sundays.
