                                                    Come meet Jesus for yourself 

   Stephen a deacon of the early church preached a powerful sermon laying out the gospel through out the bible and how scripture pointed to Jesus the Christ. Those who heard went MAD. What followed is found in Acts 7:54 "When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, 56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. 57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, 58 And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul 59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. 60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep."

    I love the word of God it says he "fell asleep."  Meaning an angry outraged MOB murdered him. This is the result of pure intolerance faced with unimpeachable truth.  They refused to listen or to reason . The had no answer so they stormed and raged . They "cried out " to drown out his words and thier thoughts. The world is screaming on the TV,  movies , music, books,  Web , in social media , through tik-tok, Instagram, snapchat , Email , Web pages , You tube, rumble, videos , in politics, the streets , classroom and face to face person to person.  The MOB is world wide and large many times intolerant of ideas and view outside of there “truth” .  in the WEST they say speak your truth not the truth, that is the wisdom of the day . Many times they mean shout your “ truth” and ignore facts and truth. In some countries it means the death penalty or jail.

   Arguments can be transformed to even worst vitriol when topics of politics or religion come up. Wars , genocides and lost of jobs and freedom and reputation all over differences of race , creed and religion it is the way of humanity past and present.  So when you ask do you know Jesus , or witness about the Christian faith the response can be TOXIC.  I am reaching out to all those on both sides . Let us listen to each other and share our views with respect and tolerance  Aretha Franklin the " queen of soul" said it best "All I'm askin' is for a little respect when you come home(Just a little bit) " 

   To Christians we should present the gospel with love not a hammer , we all need the ask God for help since we have been trained by family and society from birth to react differently.  Fallen humanity is in our flesh. As the apostle Paul says in Romans 7:19 "For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me." 

   To all those who dispute the gospel , the faith that we believe saves and redeems, please stop listing to hearsay which is  "the report of another person's words by a witness, which is usually rejected as evidence in courts" . no more rumors  and what other said about Jesus -  read the BIBLE for yourself  hear what he as to say for himself  to you!  Stop making choices about your future and your eternal destiny based on someone else's interpretation and words.  

   Jesus ask an important question in  Matthew 16:13 "When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. Those are Jesus words to you and all the screaming angry intolerance members of the MOB. who do YOU say i am ! God says in Isaiah 1:18: “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the LORD, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool."  The real Jesus Christ is waiting in the pages of Gods word . Waiting for you today .  Why not go and meet him it might just save your soul.
