Heaven on your mind ?

Heaven on your mind ?  While watching videos online I read on my feed a list of videos. One of the video speaking about why Heaven is not so important! A provocative title. I saw the video headline and moved on not willing to waste my time on, what I think is a foolish proposition.  The reality is many of God's people live theirs lives like that headline is true. We read self help books on spiritual growth, sing songs about earthly victories in Christ , all worthy topics. God  does deserve our praise, the Psalms are filled with songs of praise,  and many of the topics we write, preach and sing about have a place. The problem is forgetting about what Jesus sasy is our first priority. Our prayers many times are filled with requests for our daily bread and not God spiritual "bread".  Moses tells us ...

Never to late

Never to late.    There is and saying in English "‘You Can't Teach an Old Dog New Tricks"  it is  idiom that means it is almsot impossible to get a person set in thier ways due to age, experience, or teaching  change is resisted. The older a person becomes from child to 100  their perception of the world , ideas, prejudices and patterns becomes set and harder to alter. Age is not the only factor experience can be a factor. Sports stars  in thier 30's are "old"  and many find it hard or some impossible to learn different ways to train or play there sport because of a thousand times thy have performed the same actions one way from childhood. How to swing a bat or gold club, how to throw kick or shoot a ball or...

An example of being a martyr

An example of  being a martyr    Millions have died for the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior. from Steven the first martyr of the faith to the majority who are unknown , by us , some man or women is now dying somewhere on earth for Jesus. Thsi is a part of being a follower of Jesus, that many preaches especially those in Mega churches and ministries. In the Spirit

I n the Spirit   Galatians   5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall n...

TIME IS SHORT

Time is short   The rich man prepared to live for many years to come . He saved and built set up all his accounts , bought stocks and a new mansion , all his trips and his life's goals were planed out into the future. We all do this; we speak and plan as if we have all the time in the world. It is worst when we are young when 70 to 100 years seems like well " like a life time"  But the reality is it is a small moment of time.  God is eternal he had no beginning and no end. Jesus, part of the Trinity(God father ,Son and Holy Sprit),says in Revelation 22:13 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last." Everything else, every angel, demon , the universe, star, animal, rock, plant  and human have a begining an...
