Spiritual warfare of the believer.

Sermon synopsis :

Main text   Ephesians chapter 6

Paul call on believers in Ephesians 6:10 "...  be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. " We can do all things through CHRIST. All power belongs to God. Demons job is to stop believers from doing God's will.  They want to destroy, like they made th herd of pigs run into the sea Mark 5:13. There is a battle for your soul going on, in the spiritual realm, a warfare between light and dark . There is a great war going on and God has given  believers in Jesus power.  We have an invisible enemy and we need invisible  armor. We have to put on the whole Armor of God to be able to stand. Without the whole armor you will not be able to stand. Believers need to understand that the  mind is a battlefield;  what you focus on and feed on what you become.  They should focus on and feed  on the word of God.  

1.  Ephesians 2:4-6 says "4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5. Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, ; 6. And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus "NKJ. Demons and spiritual enemies cannot touch a Christian when they are sitting in heavenly places with God, without God permission. They will try to get a Christian to come down so they can attack and defeat you. You will still be attacked even if do not come down, because this is a war.  

2.  In the book of Job the Word says that God ask the devil where his he was  the answer "... going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it NKJ.   1 Peter 5:8 adds "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: NKJ .Way that the bible worded this verse reveals that "who he may" means those whom God  allows.  He can only touch God's true people sitting in heavenly places if  given God's permission.  God may give permission. God allows storms in your life because he know what kind of battle you need to make you stronger. 

3. We are in spiritual war. How do we win the battle? Christians need to put on the whole armor of God from Ephesians 6:10-18.   If any Christian is going to succeed in spiritual war they need to have " DONE ALL"  Ephesians 6:13.  If a Christian believer is Losing in day to day struggles;  it may be  a sign  they have not done all 100% is needed  not just 99%. 

4.   The World is not our home;  Humans are  spiritual beings and the body a temple that is house for your spirit  . People are afraid to die because have no control and fear bible may be true.  The early church knew this. and  they were not afraid to die in this world , because  they knew they had victory beyond the grave .

  Dear loved and valued one,      I writing this to you in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Jesus who I believe is the blessed Savoir and Son of God. Christmas ?

                                                                   Christmas?   Christmas, Easter the Sabbath day bring disputes over whether they are PAGAN or is it the right day. So earlier in the last few weeks I overheard a conversation between a sister in Christ when she tried to witness to a person. As she was witnessing he asked her "but what about the Sabbath when do you worship" and she admitted on Sunday. The person then said "what about Christmas do you celebrate" and she said "yes" and he immediately began to talk about the fact that sunday was not the sabbath and Christmas is pagan day and we do not know when Jesus was actually born. The message of the Gospel could have been sidetracked as she tried to defend celebrating Christmas and Sundays.
