How Can I Overcome Opposition in the world?

1. Try to be peaceful with your enemies.

Proverbs 15:1 A soft answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger.

Romans 12:18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.
New King James Version

Proverbs 16:7 When the Lord takes pleasure in anyone’s way, he causes their enemies to make peace with them. New International Version

Proverbs 3: 5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

1 John 5: 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

2. Love your enemies

Romans 12:14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. 16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion. 17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. 20 Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink;For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
New King James Version

3. Pray for your enemies

Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
King James Version

Proverbs 13:20 He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed. New King James Version

1 Corinthians 15:33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

Titus 3:9  But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

Romans 12:1-2 – Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

King James Version
